Instilling confidence in our 7 and 8 year old girls.
On Monday and Wednesday the Year three and four girls from the Middle Syndicate went to a girls self defence course to learn to keep ourselves and other people safe if we were ever in a bad situation. We had a really kind and fun teacher called Casey. She taught us lots of different kicks and punches and how to use a loud, strong brave voice. We did lots of fun activities and used equipment like punching bags to help us practice them. We had so much fun and came out of the hall feeling brave, confident and strong!
